David Beckham has moved one step closer to a permanent return to the UK after settling into a £20 million London home. The 37-year-old footie star is renting a luxurious mews house in an upmarket part of west london. The Beckham clan have been staying in the plush pad owned by Touker Suleyman, boss of high street fashiob chain Ghost, for the past week. It enjoys state-of-the-art security , including a reinforced, lead-lined wall at the front of the property to deter potential intruders. Meanwhile, David and wife Victoria have enrolled their sons Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 10 and seven year old Cruz into a £15,000-a-year school in London and are said to be delighted about returning to the UK. Beckham has also invested in multiple cherished number plates for his luxury cars. Former Manchester United and England ace Beckham has recently been linked to a number of London clubs, including Queens Park Rangers and West Ham. But it is believed the chance of a return to any English club other than Manchester United is unlikely. He left the Red Devils in 2003 to join Real Madrid and played for the spanish Giants until 2007. The midfielder revealed his desire to make an emotional return to Old Trafford to pal Tony Cottee as they watched United draw 2-2 with West Ham in the FA Cup.Iron legend Cottee, 37, said "I'd love to see David Beckham at Upton Park but have to say that is a long shot, having spoken to him before last Saturday's Game. " I got the impression from speaking to Becks that the only Club in England that he would sign for is manchester united." Sources close to the star have claimed he is in no rush to find a new team and is "mulling over serious proposals" from a number of Clubs across the world. Teams from England, Europe, China, Australia, and the Middle East have all expressed an interest in Beckham following his decision to leave LA Galaxy. Last week it was revealed he was offered a massive £20 million, two-year deal to join the Qatar Stars League in the Middle Eastern state. Accoring to reports, the deal would involve a long-term publicity role as an ambassador for the Qatar 2022 World Cup. Beckham quit MLS side LA Galaxy last month following five years in America.
