Broad, 44, cheated victims into handing over £1½million for bogus investment schemes, a court was told yesterday.
The dad-of-one blew it all on a lavish family lifestyle with fast cars, gambling, designer clothes and expensive holidays.
Broad was so plausible that cops said he was like a chameleon — all things to all people, Truro Crown Court heard.
He flaunted his wealth by carrying huge bundles of notes and peeling off £20s and £50s when he went shopping.
Broad, of Liskeard, Cornwall, was jailed for 15 months after admitting four deception charges totalling £129,400.
Cops said that was “the tip of the iceberg” and are looking for more victims.
